It's hard sometimes to realise
That you are far away
Yet I never fail to think of you
At the close of day.
When each night I lay my head to rest
And loneliness fills my heart
You seem to stand beside me
And all my fears depart.
Then I am warmly comforted
To face each day anew
And tn my secret world of dreams
I walk and talk with you.
It's all I have until the time
When once more you are with me
Heartaches will then turn to happiness
And dreams to reality.
